The restaurant is very popular, so it's best to make a reservation or call ahead before you go. We ordered the Honey Garlic Pork Belly Bites, Quinoa Salad Bowl, Prosciutto Flatbread, and Honey Sriracha Brussels Sprouts. Everything was tasty, but I especially liked the Honey Sriracha Brussels Sprouts. They were slightly crispy and coated in a delicious sweet and spicy sauce.
I've been to Cahilty Creek Kitchen & Taproom several times over the years, and it continues to be a solid choice in Sun Peaks. On my most recent visit, I stopped in for breakfast and had the eggs benny. The eggs were cooked perfectly to my medium preference, and the crispy taters were a great side. The staff was friendly and attentive, which made the visit even better. The location is slightly off the main village strip, so it's a bit quieter but still easy to find. Parking can be a bit of a challenge, depending on the time of day. Overall, a strong 4 stars. I’ll definitely be back, especially when I’m looking for a good breakfast in the area.
Really cute spot! Large family tables and a nice bar. Menu was filled with amazing breakfast options. All the food looked delicious but lacked execution. My poached eggs were rock hard, english muffing cold and frail but my tots were spot on. Overall not bad for
Awesome food and local beers on tap with options of a tasting flight. Apple cinnamon French toast highly reccomended for breakfast!
This place is excellent. I have been a couple times and every time it is consistent and quality. You are getting better than pub food, not quite fine dining, but the quality is near that. Even for a ski hill prices are quite acceptable. Several different micro-brews they source from local craft brewers is also a nice touch. It's not the closest place to the main lifts either, so it usually has some seating. Regular busy but not jam-packed wait lines. Value for cost is definitely there.
Service was absolutely awesome as it was friendly, efficient, and everyone seemed to go out of their way to make sure we were happy with our dining experience. I wish I grabbed the name of our server as he was outstanding at absolutely everything. Food was tasty, large portions, fresh, and priced fairly. An awesome apre ski location that is a short jaunt off the Village walkway. Their happy hour looks good too but didn’t get a chance to go. Will definitely come back.
